Le Pain Quotidien, to many its just another cafe, But to me, its the home of my favorite egg benedict! πŸ˜€ Whenever I’m in the mood for a good breakfast and I happen to be able to get up in time, I go there and have one of the best breakfasts in Kuwait.

Last thursday was a great day for having breakfasts outdoors. We went to Le Pain Quotidien, Marina Crescent’s Branch. The weather was amazing, The weekend was starting early & I was really craving PQ! and the food was outstanding! as usual.

Omelette With Kashkawan Cheese

Egg Benedict

One thing was off that day, their service. they were not organized and very.. disoriented? The waiters were not concentrating even when taking our orders! they’re always attentive and very professional but for some reason they weren’t that day.

It’s really great place to have breakfast but don’t you think it is over priced?!! and it is as you mention in your post slow, and the coffee get cold very soon because of their wide mug…. and if you tried Maria omlette (our maid) you will forget about theirs, so why to go there? For the location and to tell every one that i have been there. One of the best place to have breakfast is Alf Laila o’Laila!! yes it is great place behind Warba insurance which open very early (4:30 am) so you can go there even before going to bed. I will send you some picture if i could later. Another great place is Soot Al-Hind (in English south India! Not a Joke) it on dwar makhfar sharq, you can have there the best Keema and tea with milk (chay 7aleeb).

I will organize a tour for you guys if you want. I like to try all type of food where ever i go, so how about my own country?

Did you enhance that photo? The color of the water is just magnificent. GREAT shot. I have the same shot, but it doesn’t have the same impact yours does. Well done!

i don’t know what it is called in arabic … sheft il karafs? shay yshbaheh… red in color with a leaf … bs il leaf ma ysta5demounha .. its poisinous … the fun is in the stem… i believe it is a form of vegetable but tastes totally delicious… if you like sour flavors it has a kind of a taste like … apricots… 3ala raspberry…
