Cell Phones For Soldiers

Today we received packages from Amazon and we found out that one of the packages contain this. I liked the idea. it basically says that if you have any old phone and you want to get rid of it just send it to them and they’re gonna forward it to the US soldiers so that they can call their families.

Here are the instructions above. If you want to send yours let me know first ;)

Thanks ANM

miss ghesquiere - I’ll thank these young men and woman who are serving this country in order to continue our right for the freedoms that we enjoy and that includes your “freedom of speech”!! Good God how old are you? Obviously not mature enough to realize the freedom that we enjoy continues with the bravery & love for this country that these men & women have. Hopefully, with maturity you open your eyes.

It seems like quite a worthy program, and it’s a very good thing to see people of my generation setting up something like this. However, in a way, it’s sad that a charity like this even has to exist - for people risking their lives thousands of miles away, the least the government could do is give them easy and reliable ways to get in touch with their family, free of charge.

They aren’t asking you to run out and buy a phone to donate, They are only asking you to donate an old phone you don’t use anymore.
I had (2) old phones that I can’t use anymore, because they aren’t compatible with my new carrier. I don’t need them so why not put them in the postage paid envelope they provided and they will hopefully do some good for someone. I get rid of something that is cluttering up my house and someone gets to phone home. The way I see it everyone wins.

By the way, why in the world do you have to buy a new phone when you switch carriers? AT&T became Cigular and they made me buy a new phone. I didn’t switch carriers, they switched me. And I had to buy a new phone to continue service. Now Cingular is AT&T again. What is with that?

To Ms. Ghesquiere, you ignorant slut. Thank God for our soldiers who are giving their all for trash such as you. You should get down on your knees each night and thank God for men and women such as our soldiers in Iraqi and Afghanistan. Theirs is a thankless job, in harms way and people like you are too stupid to understand that they are performing their jobs to help keep you safe in your ivory tower. GOD bless American and the armed forces that protect us. The PROUD father of an American Army Soldier.
