We had a Ghabga* at the Diwaniya yesterday. We took pictures of the whole thing. My brother got carried away with the camera and now i have over 350 pictures of every person of the 60+ who were there. When it was time to arrange the buffet I thought I should take as many pictures as possible, you know, good blogging material… But this time I really don’t know what was wrong with me, every picture turned out blurry and couldn’t find any nice drool-worthy ones. Yeah, so anyway, the picture above is of my dish 
We had a blast, and the star of the Ghabga was the ‘best Knafa in Kuwait’ that I once posted about. It was reeaally good. 2 full trays were gone within minutes. Highly recommended. You know what? Once the guilt of having this post published during a Ramadan day subside, I’ll write a detailed post dedicated to the making of this Knafa

*Ghabga is a late dinner/Sohoor** where we invite family and friends to a big dinner party. The word used always during ramadan.
**Sohoor is the last meal we eat in preparation for a day of fasting.
