Not the Blue one which i posted about a couple of days ago but I managed to get the green amber mesba7 (thanks to Ali). The green amber is not as rare as the blue one but still it’ll feel very welcomed among my collection 
And one more thing I’m still hunting for the blue amber!

Mhhm…. may I asked where you bought it? It is definitely beautiful….it looks like amber pieces melted together in some form and way. The one who did this knows his job. A true collectors piece, although it is not the way that green amber comes from the mine.

Many of these technics to enhance amber have a long tradition in the Baltic’s and it is not considered “cheating” on Mother Nature. Since Roman times this has been a way to get what people want for a price they are willing and able to pay. Therefore many masters used their own technics, like slow heating of amber in liquids or sand or table salt. There is even the story that in the first century Baltic amber was boiled in the fat of a suckling pig.

Oh… just read in this book “Amber: Golden Gem of the Ages” by Patty Rice, page 342, pagabout “Polybern”. This is amber combined with Poyester. Little pieces of amber melted together with Polyester (which can be of different colors).
