My Wind understands OSX

Yes i just finished installing Leopard on my Wind and i also upgraded the ram to 1.5 GB even the battery got upgraded to 6-cells which gives me 4+ hrs. The only thing that is not working right now is the wifi but my new card is on the way via ShopnShip.
Anyway i just want to thanks Mark and Bashar for helping me with the installation process.
hey where did you get your 6 cell battery from and how much?

Ah that sucks cuz it costs KD20 here in Kuwait according to the dealer. I thought you found it cheaper somewhere else.

Nope its the 6cell for sure.
Stafa: Check ebay, do a search for Dell 1390 or 1490 wifi cards. Mine cost 15$ with shipping.

I got my MSI wind yesterday, went looking every where for it and found it in Lulu Hypermarket, last piece! Running from hawali where the dealer is to lulu to try and get hold of the last one before its gone…
im currently writing this comment using it… how can you upgrade the RAM?
I have connected on my wireless dsl network at home, it works fine, and without an WIFI card? and i have connected with ego… also fine… this little fella is soooo light and it is worth every fils of its 149 KD!!!
i think i will buy the battey which works four hours now. It will be great for travelling…

Mishary: just spoke to the dealer today, 6cell battery costs KD20 and they have it in stock. going to pick it up this week.
Daddy’s Girl: The MSI has a wifi card, if you want to install OSX you need to get another kind of wifi card though.

Stafa: I just checked and the DW1490’s are currently going for like 20$ and up. What you could do then is get the DW1390 which also works exactly the same. I found and ordered one now for $13.90 with shipping.
