Usually whenever we want some iranian food delivered to our house we order from Marafi’s, But since 9k2hn was telling us about this Babak restaurant and how well is their presentation, we figured we’d order from them this time and give them a try.
I was expecting the packaging to be slighly better than Kabab Alhejja’s.. you know the white foam boxes wrapped in strings. But this one went well above my expectations. It was very nicely packaged. I leave you with the pictures now.
The kabab tasted like Marafi’s but it was a bit dry.
It would’ve been perfect had it just been a little tenderer 🙂

This is the eggplant with meat dish (Halim Bathenjan). I didn’t enjoy this dish very much, I think the absence of the crispy fried onion on top (garnish) was a big factor, and the other thing was the eggplant, it overpowered everything.
Even the bags.. I especially loved the bags 🙂
I know it wasn’t perfect, but nothing is. I will order from Babak again coz overall I liked it.

The packaging is the best thing about the place. It could fool you into thinking the food is good. I would never order from them again. The chicken was terrible, the cats outside my house wouldn’t even eat it. Everything looked good, but the taste definately didn’t measure up. There are much better places in Kuwait. After all, you don’t eat the packaging!
Yup packaging is best thing about the place, but I do not like my food to be dressed like a model, I want to eat it, not look at it.
Unlike Purg.. I like food to be presented in the nicest way possible to me so I love their packaging too
and I love the fact they are fast in delivering food… and when we ordered from them (a couple of times) the food was amazing.. I liked their Okra stew (marag bamya) yummm yo3ana 7addi na6ra el futoor LOL

I tastes really good and the presentation is really nice walah I ate from every where and there is not food like this. IT IS THE BEST !!!!
I didnt like NAZ resturant it was just like any other iranian resturant but BABAK is really different and it is great =)
