Glen, basically that was a phone call from Emir Sultan Ibn Fahd, a Saudi royal, who’s also in charge of youth and sport activities in Saudi Arabia. He commented in a very rude and insulting manner on the three sports critics’ negative comments about the Saudi national football team. Out of fear, none of them uttered a word back..

  7. Glen says:

Hey thanks q8 health…. and holy shit… No freedom of speech in Saudi I guess… This is problem with Monarchy rule… Recently and Australian guy got jailed for 3 yrs because he wrote something against the Thai Royal Family… I feel critics should be allowed to voice out… Man the guys face was like as if someone was just verbally slapping him left and right… Poor chap 🙂

q8heathl, they did reply back but he didn’t let them he cut the line before they could answer, and their reply afterwards was mostly out of respect to an elder not fear.
The prince was very rude though!

Don’t ya love it? When someone is SO rude, they embarrass themselves. Who will forget this impulsive, rude phone call – when they think of this “royal” that is what they will remember.
