I Just got sms from 9K2HN telling me that Skype.com is no longer blocked by Fasttelco. Yet, I’ve checked with Zain, since it’s my ISP, and its still blocked. Can you fill us in if it’s working on other ISPs?

With this Proxy: 208.98.21.34 Port: 49152 nothing is blocked, works only at Fasttelco

Qnet is still blocking the Skype website.

We didn’t get any paper from MOC to remove the block. So I guess Fasttelco removed it unilaterally.

I hope the ISPs can get together to unify our position. So they can have a stronger position against this MOC idiocy.

Currently the ISPs are not talking to each other at all about this. So if one ISP blocks it, MOC shames all the others to do the same. “These guys did it, why can’t you?”

I use a lesser known service, and it is never blocked. They blocked access to the website, but the company gave me a work around when I contacted customer service. Unplugged it when I left Kuwait, plugged it in in Doha, and it works like a charm. Thank God for VOIP
