taking pictures under water in Kuwait kubbar

I’m done with the Nitrox course and ready for Sharm AlSheikh, I also tried to use a camera underwater for the first time. I used my brothers digital camera and I have to say that I need a lot of practice! It’s extremely hard to take decent shots down there. You have no control over the distance between you and the thing you’re trying to shoot, no control over the lighting, and I can’t see the thing I’m shooting through the LCD screen! it’s pretty fuzzy down there.

^ Thats is Kubbar island in the background

The Nitrox air was a pleasant surprise. I had no headaches afterwards and the overall feel of tiredness I get after dives was much less this time compared to past dives. I’m loving the Nitrox. Oh and it seems that with Nitrox I don’t consume as much of the tank as before.

A friend of mine has a case for his DSLR, but that cost an arm an a leg and weighs 70 lbs but he does get some great shots underwater when he dives!

Gorgeous photos! What fun you are having! Try Zanzibar. Try Kenya. Try the Red Sea off the Saudi coast – all great undersea life. (I don’t dive, just snorkel, but we love being underwater.)

Very much neighbourly dispatch but there are some burden where I last wishes as not agree. But blanket its altogether good.
