Zuno, I have a blackberry and whenever I check emails on it they are marked read on my notebook immediately. The reason why Yousefs’ don’t get marked open is probably because he has a Mac.
Abid I’m using IMAP, but there is no effect when I mark the emails as “read” on my blackberry on the same emails on my laptop. I don’t know how to solve this problem.

you can delete them from the blackberry and it will be deleted from your inbox ;p
They’re probably mostly spam or forwards 😛
see if u had an iphone.. when u open the emails on ur phone theyd be opened in ur laptop too!

It has nothing to do with mac or pc……. its probably POP vs. IMAP
