Don’t u feel that suddenly every one want to get white teeth? I know it’s a good thing and who wouldn’t want white teeth or whiter teeth in some cases. But I feel that it’s the new thing now. You hear about it everywhere and even see it on TV advertisements (which became 2 ads without me realizing at first!). And I can’t deny it, it does make the biggest difference in someone’s face and smile, so why not I guess.

There are some popular methods for example going to the dentist and having it professionally done or using whitestrips, and I think there are some teeth whitening pastes….I am sure that some of u are blessed with white teeth but my question is for normal people, did u try any of these methods? tell us ur experience and recommendations

My only effort in that direction is using a whitening toothpaste. One of the ones that have a bit of gravel in it to give your teeth a better scrub.

I’ve tried several methods, so I will share my experience:

    1. Whitening toothpaste: never works. I’ve tried 3-5 kinds including Sensodyn’s and the “advanced whitening” with “advanced” chemiclas. Doesn’t work.

    2. Whitening mouthwashes: yes those do exist, only tried one. Doesn’t work.

    3. Whitening Strips: work like MAGIC. Seriously those DO work. I’ve tried the crest strips. Their packages depend on duration. I tried the one with “4 weeks till ur teeth r white” and u actually see them turn white in a week (this is around $35). There are also packages which r made to be used for only 3 days, but i wouldn’t recommend those.
whitestrips keep ur teeth white for 3-6months or longer if u continue to brush well. 🙂

I usually do professional whitening once a year with my annual teeth cleaning, although the results are good it really isn’t worth having your mouth pried open for 45 minutes. I have recently opted for the take home whitening treatments from Bayan dental and they work like a charm. Just make sure you follow the instructions carefully, my teeth were once extremely sensitized after using the gel for a little over an hour but i later learned that my teeth were sensitive to begin with so it really differs from one person to another.

Bayan Dental Clinic has many techniques, I think about 3 methods.

Ask for “Rama” on this number (2232-3999) and she’ll take care of you (she’s the PR contact).

And may be because you’re a fellow blogger, you could get a great deal if you’d write a review on your experience.

    Try and let us know!

I like the Zoom treatment; one hour (or so) and you are done. It lasts a long time. They also make custom “trays” for your teeth, and you can buy teeth whitening gels which you can use for an hour in your own home and they really work to boost the zoom treatment. It’s expensive. It’s worth it, in terms of time, efficiency, convenience. I had it done three years ago, and my teeth are still WHITE.
