Don’t get too excited, they will probably make up the difference in 2 months with, ‘backed up’ fawateer, and ‘over-usage of wap’ or some other bs.

Zain’s local usage is now unlimited.. check it on their website 🙂

  3. MiYaFuSHi says:

I have washed my hands if them. I much prefer wataniya, and my bills are much less. Wataniya also provides complete transparency, with monthly pdf file bills detailing all costs, available easily on their website.

Their customers service is also great as well as, fast call center service, unlike zain where I have to wait 15 minutes and rarely get an answer. And god forbid they tell u tech will call u back, cause they never do. Whereas with wataniya, they always do, and always resolve your issue.

Last time i checked it was almost 30 seconds in Zain! You something.. i had an issue with Zain probaly last July, and they came to me in 2 days.. sounds good for me! Anyway, I do still like the BB offer.

    enigma

    it’s under the blackberry FAQ’s, 1st paragraph I guess

    Nasser,,

Zain’s “unlimited usage” is a scam.. Read the fine print, *subject to fair usage policy*.. which means they give u a certain limit. Exceed it, and ur in trouble for a whole month cuz u get internet speed that makes dialup look good.

No mention of the limit of course, this lack of transparency is so like Zain.

i totally agree with you regarding the usage policy

No not a scam, call their 107 and check, I just did.
The Fair usage policy refers to The roaming usage as they told me, and it is exactly as mentioned in the FAQs.

    Guys, be fair!

i just checked with ZAIN about their Blackberry Unlimted local package. the fair usage policy states that if the customer exceeds the 1GB limit then the speed will decrease only. in other words the customer will not get charged even if he or she reaches the monthly limit. BTW i dare anyone who can reach 1GB per month using the Blackberry device because everything is compressed withen the Blackberry.
