Kuwait Oil Company decided to build an artificial oasis on the top of the second largest field in the world and call it Burgan Oasis. It’s a small piece of land that looks like Kuwait’s map, surrounded by water, and it will have a meeting room, a dewaniya a kitchen and bathrooms. Unfortunately its restricted to KOC’s employees only.

    This is fancy stuff!!!

Is it only for upper management or can regular employees use it?

The meeting room looks fit for a summit meeting with all the mic’s.

The idea is wonderful. No question.

The design and finish: the interior is overkill (too much in every sense) and the paint colours on the metal-work outside seem as though they used left-over paint from many different-coloured pots.

Why not go for a unified simple (a little more natural) look, with simple Kuwaiti traditional decorations inside?
