  2. I can’t read Arabic but will the new bill mean that movies are no longer cut because of adult content? I hope they will give a rating and let adults view the entire film. 🙂

We only take our kids to age-appropriate films… What bugs me is the trailers they play just before a PG movie, for movies rated 18!! Why is something so stupid allowed to happen?

As regards this bill, I’m afraid it will be like many things: Here today, gone (and ignored) tomorrow.

  4. meh says:

Let them do what they want as long as movies aren’t cut.

  5. Yousef says:

expatandthecity it basically proposes a rating system for every movie to protect kids from being exposed to movies they’re not supposed to watch. Nothing about keeping movies from being edited.

I still think there will be problems applying it, but I do hope that this will lessen the amount of cutting that is done to the movies!
