A good Macbook Air offer caught my attention on an ad by Electrozan. As you can see on the right ad the Air is up for KD249, which was a great bargain. I called a friend who was interested in the Air and told him about the offer. But then I saw another ad today, the left one, with a much higher price, KD549. I don’t know if this was a typo or just an offer for an old Air that ended.

Can someone clarify?

Since my office got shifted to a new location, my computer position also changed, and my screen now has been easily looked at by collegues and they’d know everything I do. No privacy. It was really annoying, So couple of weeks ago I was found a solution for the problem, thanks to Ahmad, for telling me about the 3M privacy filter which is really do the job for me. Zain’s Marketing Department have sent us their new Zain MiFi device, which is not yet released in the market. Let’s start by telling you what it is first: The MiFi in a nutshell is a mobile router. And it’s size is almost exactly like the Blackberry curve size.

We have put it through tests for 3 days now, and we have the results. But before talking about its functions and all, we’d like to point out that this thing is elegant! when we held it it looked like a women’s fancy compact makeup; Storage is easy with this thing. Its a mobile router that you can charge and then use wirelessly.

I found this interesting website called Zoho that let you edit or write your documents online without Microsoft Word. It also lets you “access and edit existing documents even without an internet connection. Offline document edits will be synchronized when you are online.”

Back in 1982 the usage of online bulletin boards were common and they used to communicate and discuss all sort of stuff on those boards. They used to have a problem understanding some of the posts. Some of the posts were intended as a joke, or someone was being sarcastic, but then some wouldn’t get it and start a whole fight and rally up against what was supposed to be taken as a joke.

Then, on September of 1982, a bunch of guys were at their computers typing away suggestions to help solve this problem. They came up with the idea of labeling a comment or mark it with something that would make it clear that the comment is a joke and isn’t intended to be taken seriously. Some of the guys suggested:

“I think that the joke character should be the sequence {#} because it looks like two lips with teeth showing between them.”

“No, no, no! Surely everyone will agree that “&” is the funniest character on the keyboard. It looks funny”

But then came along this one guy, who typed a message that would leave a lasting impact on computer users all over the world. And this is what he had to say:

Couple of days ago me and 9K2HN were searching for some one in Hawali to print in our macs Arabic letters and we found two or three shops which can do it but the problem was the letters can’t hold more than 3 months then it will begin to fade away, so we decided to replace the whole key board with an original Arabic/English key board and we headed directly to iCity and guess what? it cost us only for replacing it KD120 plus KD 10 plus you have to wait 1 month after you pay for it! so in total KD130 plus 1 month of waiting ! so we left iCity and headed to DIGITS and found out thats also the same! but they offer us some thing else which is we can buy it from the net and after we recieved it we can bring it back to them and they gonna install it for KD10 (which iCity refuse to do the same) so we went back home and i was searching for it in the net and i came up with this thing which is a silicon cover which ONLY gonna cost us around KD 8 you can check it out by clicking HERE

Zain Create have made some changes to their pricings, and now you can buy a whole album, legally, for KD 1.400. I have downloaded an album before and thought the sound files’ quality are superb.
