Today was HNM’s birthday so as usual me and wife decided to bring her a gift which was wrapped by my wife. By the way i like the combination of dark and light gray.

Finally ..The rumors were true. Apple next event in San Francisco next Tuesday, October 14th at 10AM PST.

Its for a new laptop inshalla they gonna released a 13.3″ one or smaller, Anyway stay tune we’re gonna cover it inshallah

The results for our last poll are in. The question was What Do You Think of Gergai3an? Over 300 votes and now here are the results for each answer:

2. Lost it’s meaning 41%
3. I don’t care 7%
4. I hate loud kids 7%

It’s nice to know that it’s still fun for most people but still, we should tone down the extravagant gergai3ans. We should keep in mind that kids should still be able to enjoy it. It was meant to make them happy after all.

Yesterday we decided to have lunch today at Burj Alhamam restaurant so i called the restaurant and I reserved a table for the family as I usually would. He then said ‘yes sir its available for that many people at that time, but there is one request, you have to come now and pay a non refundable KD20 to complete your reservation’ i said what? why should i come today and tomorrow? i will come tomorrow and in case I wanted to cancel i will call you, don’t worry. he replied .. ‘Sorry sir this is the only way. Its our policy in every Eid.’ and yes i ended up going and paid the KD20 for the table.

Our last poll was ‘What is your favorite Ramadan dish?’ Over 200 people decided the following:

1. Harees / Yereesh 32%
2. Tashreba 29%
3. Muchboos 16%

5. I don’t care 20%

The tashreeba, my favorite, won the second position. It so deserved to be a #1

Our new poll got to do with Ramadan too. The Gergai3an is an old Kuwaiti tradition, where kids go door to door, on the 13th, 14th and 15th of every Ramadan, singing a traditional tune and in return get a handful of goodies (chocolates, nuts..etc.) We all went gerge3ing when we were kids and I remember that we couldn’t wait to measure our bagfuls of goodies and see who got the most.

-New iPod Nanos.
-iTunes 8.
-New thinner iPod Touch 2.0
-New colors for Shuffle.
-iPod Classics (I don’t get this update. They no longer have the 160GB?)

Apple will hold an event on the 9th of this month, it will be probably mainly for the mini ipods, but who knows maybe they’re gonna introduce the new tablet 9K2HN stay tuned coz i think ena alah hadaak o elfal lekhwanek inshallah
