Word has it that a new Blackberry storm is going to be released. Mishary bought the older one, it didn’t last much with him, it sucked and he bought the new curve. I’ve head that the screen isn’t all that and although it’s a touch screen, it doesn’t function when it’s “touched” but has to be “clicked” to function.. Anyway.. The Storm 2 is said to be released in a month or 2 tops, so don’t go out and buy the older one just yet, no matter how alluring the touch screen may sound

According to BlackBerryOS forum moderator the BlackBerry Storm 2 could be out sooner than expected. Which is expected to be this June.

You’ve seen this thing, the jetlev flyer, before on email forwards or on tv, right? It was finally made available for people to buy last month. People now can buy this thing and start flying all over Kuwait’s beaches this summer

Jetlev is available in 2 models:

1. The one with 155 HP costs € 99,000. Around KD 38,000.
2. The one with 215 HP costs € 119,000. Around KD 46,000.

With these prices could the jetlev flyer be the next big summer activity in Kuwait? To use this machine you need 10 hours of training first, but I’m totally picturing this machine being rented in Kuwait for say, KD20 for a 10 minutes ride, with less than 10 seconds worth of training.

So yeah the inevitable have happened. The blackberry slipped, fell and hit the ground. You know there is always this sinking feeling when you drop something shiny and new, and then there is the few moments between the sound of your mobile crashing, and you picking it up with one eye closed dreading the sight you’re about to see.. I hate those moments.

I always take good care of the things I own, be it a mobile, a laptop, a camera or whatever (I’m not like Mishary, I don’t change my mobile every 3 days! I’m loyal to my mobiles and I use them till death do us part ) But then if something bad happens to one of my things, I just can’t continue caring for it as much anymore. Once a mobile is scratched, I stop treating it with care. And now in this case.. my mobile isn’t just scratched, as you can see, it got a tear on it!

9ar mobile moqawil.. fa if you guys know a place that sells BOLD covers in Kuwait, I’d be thankful. I gotta cover this ugly torn thing.

So the company my cousin works for had a seminar yesterday and they provided the attendees with this very nice and efficient device. My cousin was nice enough to give it to me so I could share it with you guys.

The Nintendo DSi will be available around the world starting from the 5th of April, it’ll be available in black, white, blue and white. Its priced at around KD49. lets see how much are they gonna sell it for here in Kuwait

A week ago I received my Vodafone branded and unlocked Blackberry Storm which i bought from Ebay. I’m not a fan of touch screens phones, but since i found this with an unbelievable price of KD160 including delivery expenses plus shop&ship’s, I became a fan. Just to give you guys an idea on why i thought this was a good deal, a quick comparison is Kuwait-Mall.com, they’re selling it for KD297, almost double the price.

My friend just got the Epson p6000 and was showing it to me the other day. It’s a multimedia storage and viewing device with 80GB harddisk. At first I wasn’t sure what to use it for, but after playing around with it, I thought it’ll be a very good thing to carry around in the camera bag. We went this time without Yousef. We used to go with him almost every year since 1998. He didn’t want to go because we were going early in the morning and returning the same day at night. He wanted to stay atleast for a night. I don’t know why He doesn’t enjoy the exhibition.

Yes i just finished installing Leopard on my Wind and i also upgraded the ram to 1.5 GB even the battery got upgraded to 6-cells which gives me 4+ hrs. The only thing that is not working right now is the wifi but my new card is on the way via ShopnShip.

Anyway i just want to thanks Mark and Bashar for helping me with the installation process.

They’re going to release a new e-Go package tomorrow. It’s going to be a prepaid package, no fixed monthly fees and no subscriptions. the e-Go device (shown above) will be sold for KD 40 and then you can charge it by paying either through eezee cards or by going online and pay using your Knet or Credit card. You can choose to pay KD1.5 which equals either 500mb worth of bandwidth or 24 hours internet access.

The network connection speed is still 7.2mb for this new package.
