Today we were discussing this issue in my father’s in law house, yes how come our airport got a duty free shops and our country doesn’t apply taxes?! i went to Wikipedia and double checked “Duty free” definition and came out with this:
Duty Free shops: Duty-free shops (or stores) are retail outlets that do not apply local or national taxes and duties.
Can anyone clarify this to me?!

the Snap Capp is something very special, and yet is so simple. Simply put, the Snap Capp is “a plastic re-closable top designed to snap onto virtually all 12 and 16 ounce aluminum beverage cans”.
The Snap Capp also comes in handy on picnics or other outdoor outings. You may have noticed that when an open can is left out in the open, bees and other bugs sense the sugar and love to fly in.
Here how it works .. i think its pretty smart idea!

You should be able to pick up 3-packs for around KD2.600 HERE but its still not available
Thanks INM
UPDATE:
According to one of our readers they are available HERE.
Thanks DVLz

Since i was young in high school i grew up watching my grand father collecting mesbahs (rosaries), after he passed away my father took over this hobby, and continued collecting and having his own collection. The bag contains some rare and very precious ones, collected from more than one country. He also, sometimes, buy his own rock and custom made his mesbah.

And now back to my beginning, since i was, at the time, in high school i couldn’t afford them coz the price range starts from KD 40 to KD 950 per mesbah so i decided to go with the plastice ones
which only cost 500 fils

One year ago yesterday, a little boy came into this world oblivious to the fact that he’s got the greatest uncle in the world.

The cake tasted good. It’s from Mr Baker. They did a good job and I liked the packaging (cardboard and cellophane tightly wrapped and stapled together). I remember when we were little, Mom used to buy our birthday cakes from a bakery in Nuzha, We tried to remember the shop’s name (its no longer there btw) but couldn’t. Do you remember its name?

We all bought birthday presents for the little guy and when it was time to unwrap the gifts, the boy was in cloud #9 and we ended up opening the gifts without him lol.
This one’s mine

This is Labeba’s

And this is Mom’s

There is also a little message from Mom to the baby boy engraved on the back of the chair
If you like the chair and want to know more about it then you can click on this post for all the details.
*inhales*
HAPPY BIRTHDAAAAAAAAAY HAMMOOOOOOOOOOOODDDYYYYY!!!!
