My friend just sent me pictures of The Noodle House restaurant that is opening in place of Big Al’s, near Johnny Carinos.

This is the best chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to, we used to go eat there religiously when we were studying in the UAE.

I was having trouble finding Arabic keypads for my Blackberry Curve, so I ordered a couple from ebay. They’re relatively easy to install and you could end up saving a couple of KDs too.

Just got the double colored BlackBerry cover from a guy who’s selling them for KD 5 each and they’re available for Curve 8900, BOLD 9000 and the old Curve 8300. I’m looking for an Arabic keypad for my BlackBerry 8900, Does anyone know where I can find one in Kuwait, or even on the the net? The place where I get such things are out of stock, so do you know some guy or a shop selling BB’s arabic keypads?

I just had an argument with 2 of my colleagues about whether it’s ok to eat non Halal meat when you’re in a foreign country or not. I was saying that it’s preferable to eat only Halal meat, but it’s ok not to. They were saying it’s Haram to eat non Halal meat. As Haram as drinking alcohol, they said.

What do you think?

Personally.. I always say the “bismillah” and eat.

For those of you getting errors while sending MMS and even can’t get the Wap browser working properly, the solution is simple just go to any Zain branch and replace your SIM card with the new one (the one with Zain’s logo) and thats it. It will work like a charm!

I get this when i try to buy credit for my Skype account.. Its blocked from our Ministry of Communication, So the question is: Is this the end of skype in Kuwait? is there any way to credit my account?

So yeah the inevitable have happened. The blackberry slipped, fell and hit the ground. You know there is always this sinking feeling when you drop something shiny and new, and then there is the few moments between the sound of your mobile crashing, and you picking it up with one eye closed dreading the sight you’re about to see.. I hate those moments.

I always take good care of the things I own, be it a mobile, a laptop, a camera or whatever (I’m not like Mishary, I don’t change my mobile every 3 days! I’m loyal to my mobiles and I use them till death do us part ) But then if something bad happens to one of my things, I just can’t continue caring for it as much anymore. Once a mobile is scratched, I stop treating it with care. And now in this case.. my mobile isn’t just scratched, as you can see, it got a tear on it!

9ar mobile moqawil.. fa if you guys know a place that sells BOLD covers in Kuwait, I’d be thankful. I gotta cover this ugly torn thing.

Just found out that Electrozan is selling the BOLD and the new Curve for KD193 & KD187 respectively.

UPDATE:

just went to Electrozan, Alghanim, Eureka and called Zain with no luck all of them are out of stock ! and for the Curve it reads only Arabic with no Arabic keyboard.

So the company my cousin works for had a seminar yesterday and they provided the attendees with this very nice and efficient device. My cousin was nice enough to give it to me so I could share it with you guys.
