This is the new e-Go device from ZAIN. It is said that it’ll have a flash memory built into it and some other stuff. I love how small it is! I’ll keep you updated once I learn more.

Thanks Hamad.

As Ahmad said in my previous post, Zain is now offering an option that if you backup your contacts with them and re-download them they will be auto converted to the new assigned numbers without any headache.

The Subscription will cost you 1.5 KD/mo and you can subscribe by sending B to 99509

For more details about their new subscription you can read it HERE in Al-Watan newspaper.

Thanks Ahmad.

As of today Zain and wataniya have added an 8th digit to all their subscribers.

UPDATE 1:

“The Mobile has been switched off or out of the coverage area……” Yep ^Thats him!

Thanks Taymoor

Who copied from whom? who came up with it first? I don’t get it. all I know is that they are almost identical!

My phone is starting to fall apart and this little piece (above) falling out is definitely a sign to move on and get a new one. I liked the phone coz it was simple, easy to use and needed nothing more than a charge every 2 days. But now I’m thinking of buying something with more features and you know more features always mean bulkier. I have little knowledge when it comes to mobile phones, and right now all I know is that I need a change and something different from the mobile types I’m used to.

The things I want in my new mobile phone:

1-Great build.
2-A screen big enough to view emails and sites.
3-A mobile made to be used for internet stuff.
4-A good camera would be nice.

Mobiles I’m considering:

-iPhone.
-Blackberry Bold.
-Nokia E71.

The phone I’m most likely to buy is the blackberry, for 2 reasons:

1-The iPhone is too much hassle with the unlocking and version updating.
2-E71 is a Nokia phone. I’ve been off Nokia for years now. They’re inherently cheap.

I don’t know whether I’d enjoy using a mobile as bulky as the Blackberry (or any of the above listed mobiles), I just know that I want something different this time.

These are the new numbers effective on october. From the picture it shows that Zain numbers will begin with a 9, Wataniya with a 6, 2 for the landlines and Commercial lines will begin with 1.

Thanks Abdullah

Yes its true ! Me and wife were shocked when we arrived in Dubai, Starting from the airport to everybody in this country is seeking a taxi! 2 years ago when I came to Dubai this problem didn’t exist! Yesterday when we were in Burjuman me and wife waited for almost an hour just to take a taxi.

We’re having lunch today in Shabstan resturant in Crown Plaza Hotel. We were shocked once we entered the hotel and found these CHEAP cartoon characters running all over the place! Please can anyone tell me whats the reason behind such a cheap act in a 5 stars hotel?

I’m in the second plane right now waiting to take off to Muscat. I was thinking that Qatar airport was a little bit bigger, but still its better than ours.
