So Apple’s long awaited event took place this evening around 8pm (our time) and the following are some of the results:

• New revamped macbook pro with many new features.
• New silver macbooks that look exactly like the pro line have been introduced, and dropped the black ones.
• Macbook air. upped the harddisk to 128gb and added a mini display port.
• New led backlit Cinema Display with a magsafe to power notebooks, a 2nd USB port and a display port.

Personally I was most concerned about the new macbook pro line, since I just bought mine 6 months ago, and honestly, I thought I’d be a bit more jealous, but I’m not. I’ve always hated the black keyboard on the Air’s, but then again, I’m really impressed with the new mouse button (now THATS innovation) and the new improved battery life.

They’re going to release a new e-Go package tomorrow. It’s going to be a prepaid package, no fixed monthly fees and no subscriptions. the e-Go device (shown above) will be sold for KD 40 and then you can charge it by paying either through eezee cards or by going online and pay using your Knet or Credit card. You can choose to pay KD1.5 which equals either 500mb worth of bandwidth or 24 hours internet access.

The network connection speed is still 7.2mb for this new package.

It’s on King Fahad’s Highway and near Alzour’s exit.

If you still haven’t edited or renumbered your phonebook, like me, then go to Zain’s website and under the “quick links” box you should find “Zain renumbering solutions,” click on it and look up your mobile’s version. Today I got an email saying that Disney’s products causes cancer, But i didn’t believe it until i checked the official website of Disney and found this warning:

“WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, or birth defects or other reproductive harm.“

It is located under most of the product of Disney, you can check it out yourself by clicking this LINK.

-iPod Classics (I don’t get this update. They no longer have the 160GB?)

As the title suggest, google made a browser. Smart move, google. They said in their introduction that since everything we do online nowadays is within a browser; emails, chat, sites..etc. then they might as well make their own browser and build it from a scratch.

There is no Google Chrome for MACs as of yet but there is for windows.

This year’s Ramadan marks the 29th anniversary for Alroudan’s tournament, a yearly Ramadanian football tournament. And this time, according to a friend of mine, they will have many former football champions among the honor guests list. I’ll mention 4 of the most famous ones:

• Bebeto.
• Fernando Hierro.
• Rui Costa.
• Carlos Valderrama.

Plus other GCC national teams’ champions.

I was recommended this Kuwaiti version of Youtube by a friend of mine last weekened. It isn’t an old site, it debuted according to them on march of this year. I’m loving it. It got full length movies and is somehow, to me, faster than youtube.. which is weird.
