I was in the belajat street with my wife the other day and I noticed some new kind of traffic lights with 3 reds in them and they flash continuously. When I got a bit closer I read a sign nearby that says something like “if you see the flashing lights you should come to a complete stop! coz it means either the Amir is coming in or getting out of his house. They are located in front of the dar salwa palace.

And today i got a phone call from Ali saying the same thing, plus, now they are adding some kind of a bridge (I don’t know what to call it) with some sensors or cameras, I’m not sure what’s their purpose. Ali said that these little bridges are being constructed in Fahahel high way. Any one knows what are these thing for?

Why are USWS trying their best to do a bad job?! today i found one more thing to add to their list of flaws. 9K2HN told me the other day that something was up with USWS’ exchange rates, so today when I was paying my bill I noticed my bill was $41 and when converted by them it was KD12.71.

I did the calculations and it turned out they’re using a rate of 0.31 for all of their exchanges!! Guys the exchange rate nowadays is 0.261! (check the pic above USD1 = KD0.261) waain ga3deeen?! mo chethy ashkara 3ad!

Remember few months ago i posted the estimated price of our domain? our domain was worth a mere $100 just back then, guess how much it increased?! ITS $2,010! we doubled.. ay doubled! multiply by 20!

Here is how you do it:

• Go to installer.
• Go to sources.
• Add this source http://apps.q8dusty.com
• Go to install.

• Search for folder Q8Dusty you will find two things 1. Arabic Menu: which will transfer all your interface to Arabic. 2. iPhone Arabizer: this will let you write/read arabic sms’s from your original application.

So install what you want and then restart.

P.S. i’ve tried it on both versions 1.0.2 and 1.1.3 and both are working.

You will be able to read arabic fonts in:

• Contacts.
• Safari.
• SMS.

Around a week ago my Brother told me that there was some Kuwaiti soap being filmed infront of where he’s living and that he has an insider there telling him about the soap. (The insider is their houseboy or something. The insider managed to land a role in the soap too!). So I asked my brother if it was possible to take some pictures of the set so I could share it with you all. And He very kindly did go through all the trouble of sneaking in when no one was around and shot all these nice photos

The mosalsal is called Al Lahoub, The set is all wood, about an inch thick. There was an old cafe built for some scenes, but unfortunately it was brought down before He had a chance to take some pictures. (err I forgot the actors’ names. I’m gonna update this post once I remember or my brother sms me the names!)

A Few days ago I was talking to Labeba and she mentioned that our local banks don’t allow their employees to wear red ghetras “echmagh.” And today while I was talking with Ali He too confirmed this! My question now, is this for real? any one works in any of our local banks can confirm this? and if its true.. WHY?? What purpose does it serve?

My friend just called and told that they’re going to pay you, you poor working force of Kuwait, the 120 KD salary increase for both March and February. And April is going to be paid when April’s salary is due.

Up to now its nothing but a Reliable rumor. My friend got the tip from a “reliable source” as he put it.

UPDATE
I just saw the news on Alwatan Tv. The Minister of finance said that the salary increase will be paid at the end of April and it will include Aprils due amount and March’s retroactively. No mentions of february.

I’m having a ball right now. Mariah’s (technically) upcoming album finally leaked to the internet! Been waiting a long time for it. Its her longest time off between albums, she used to crank out album after album each year of the 90’s but now, its been 3 years since her last one! (not bad when compared to other artists. for example Lauren Hill is yet to release a real studio album and its been 9 years since her last one. Thank God I’m not a big fan of hers).

In E=MC² Mariah lets loose and stop worrying about sounding perfect and concentrate on delivering the emotional punch. When she’s singing about having fun, the bass is thumping. When she’s singing about love, she’s emotionally charged and when she’s singing about forgiveness and letting go, she takes it to church.

I’m loving the album. *shocker*
