Finally! I did it, now I can post anything on the go. This is one of the first things that I want to do when we were in wordpress.com but due to the restrictions we couldn’t. But now after moving to Godaddy (thanks 9K2HN for the help!) it’s possible! 🙂 but there is one thing I want get rid of, my signature which will show that I’m sending using BB service! Its annoying.. Does anyone know how to stop it from appearing?!
2 days ago we were at a cafe and I wanted a nutella crepe. I asked for Crepe avec chocolat, then I said avec nutella, But the lady at the counter replied with a superior tone I didn’t care for “you’re in switzerland you should eat the swiss chocolate, not nutella.” I think chocolate crepes are supposed to be with nutella not any other kind of chocolate, and I told her so as she was already in the process of making the crepe with her swiss chocolate.
I liked the end result. I liked the flaky/powedery chocolate she poured over the crepe and how it melted. Nutella would’ve been 10 times better, thats for sure, but it was good nonetheless.
It’s been raining nonstop here for a while. My immune system ran as hard and as long as it could, trying to take the cold weather, the rain and the fatigue of sleeping less than usual, and then finally, the day before yesterday, it gave up!
All day yesterday I was either asleep or trying hard to fall back asleep. Sleeping all day surely did its magic, coz I woke up today feeling good as new. I think the amount I slept yesterday really helped.
Yes they lowered their fees to 100 fils when your using any of their ATM machines, They used to be 200 fils or 150 fils depends on the bank that your dealing with but now it will be the same at any bank ATM which is good thing.
Today we decided to have our lunch at Al-mayas restaurant. I went there with my wife, 9K2HN and Labeba. This time we decided to take my family there.
So we went ahead and ordered our appetizers (mazaat). We ordered 3arayes (basically its a round bread, cut in quarters with meat mixed in with some spices) 🙂
Hi all, Yesterday we changed hosting companies. We were hosted by wordpress and now godaddy. The move have caused some things not work properly and other things went missing. We’re still going to work on the site, meaning we’re gonna change the theme, the header and maybe everything else, but we’re going to take our time doing all this stuff, we’re still pretty illiterate when it comes to these types of stuff. But, atleast now we’re done with the thing we were most worried about.
We’d like to thank 9K2HN for helping us with this move… Actually, he didn’t help us, I think it was more like.. we stepped aside and let him take control. If it weren’t for him, we probably would still be talking to that guy from bluehost through their live chat 😛 Thankyou.
Found this on the ground the other day while I was taking pictures. I don’t really think its a rose, or a flower for that matter, I think its probably something that fell off a pine tree or something similar, But I always wanted to use the word “petrified,” ever since I saw Harry potter and heard this word for the first time. 🙂
I hate cats. They make me sneeze a 1000 sneeze per second and my eye itches whenever I’m close to one of them. Now I wonder what would’ve happened to the girl filming if the cage’s door suddenly swung wide open? 😛

Angelo from Final Haven. I think its a relatively new blog, But I just love the way he writes and his topics are always interesting. Sometimes I wish I could block some of the X rated topics he writes 😛 coz I don’t want my mother to be reading such topics 😛 But I like it a lot.
Fonzy from Fonzation. I’ve been a fan of his blog for a long time. He writes about everything, be it food, reviews or life and the experiences he’s been through which are almost advice-like posts. very consistent. definitely deserves this award.
1001 Kuwaiti Nights. I loved this blog and loved the blogger’s personality, you could tell she’s got loads of talent and great writing style. She’s very different from all the other blogs I’ve read, yet had very broad appeal. It was one of the very few bloggers that stood out from the first visit. Unfortunately she’s not blogging anymore.
Mark from 248am. I’ve been reading the guy’s posts since ‘Moblogging from Kuwait’ days. I remember stumbling across his blog through a search engine, not knowing what blogs are and being fascinated with his day to day photos and the little comments he leaves under the photos. Then one day there was Miskan which got me and my friends hooked. and finally 248am.com emerged. The commitment and consistency alone makes him so deserving of this award, But I think the undeniable influence he’s had on the Kuwaiti blogging community is what should be recognized.
Bojacub from Bojacob’s Den. The guy makes me laugh out loud! his blog is full of light hearted “geeky” posts and full of humor. I like his approach, and you gotta LOVE his motto: “When life throws you a n3al, you wear it.” 😛
Those blogs are, in my opinion, just some of the excellent blogs out there. Thanks again intlxpatr. 🙂
Firefox are planning to set a Guinness World Record by orchestrating a download day for their much anticipated (not by me) Firefox 3. You can go to their website and read more about it, and maybe participate in the pledge yourself and sign up for a reminder. I did. Not sure why, knowing that I don’t use firefox… I think I just wanted to be part of this thing! 😀
Today i got a phone call from 9K2HN telling me that Amex now accepts online payments! Yes finally! i did login to my account and found this:
As you can see above they are accepting K-Net for Kuwait as an option, i didnt try it yet but according to 9K2HN the exchange rate was something around 0.269 which is fair in my opinion.

After 2 planes and a taxi we arrived at 9 something yesterday. We were all exhausted and wanted to sleep, but no, we had to get our rented car from europcar, and we did, then went to GÉANT to stock up on everthing. Then finally returned back home, where I happily drifted out of consciousness.
I went outside, After taking a 2 hour nap, and took some pictures of the cherry tree near us. Labeeba, These pictures are for you 🙂 I was planning on taking pictures of that tree even before anyone told me coz the cherries looked great!
i was reading Al-qabas news paper and found out that M.O.C is trying to ban Skype in Kuwait .. So i went to my phone and did some calls to the US but it’s still working! Has anyone any problem with his Skype account?!
Couple days ago me and Yousef decided to transfer our blog to wordpress.org so that we get more control and options on our blog but Yousef faced some issues such as the old posts?! How could we transfer them .. (( i mean the text and pictures)) coz now i think the only way we could is to transfer the text and uploading the pics manually for the old posts which will takes ages! So any one tried it? i mean to transfer from .COM to .ORG? whats the steps? and for the hosting we’re considering DreamHost.
