My friend was at the british embassy yesterday getting an eta for Canada from uk, replacing his expired one. He noticed that the prices written on the application he got 2 weeks ago differs, very much, from the prices they’re charging now.
They used to charge:
KD28 for a 6 months visa.
KD88 for 1 up to 10 years.
And now:
KD29 for a 6 months visa.
KD92 1-2 years visa.
KD172 for a 5 years visa.
KD215 for a 10 years.
Quite a big jump don’t you think?? especially at a time where their discounts and hunger for tourist are at peak…
Thanks HKR
WOW !!
That’s a huge difference .. Maybe in need of funds ?!
no way!
3ad my mom kept postponing her visa
she aint gna like it
Thats ridiculous! What justifies these jumps!
But in real life it’s cheaper becouse they are not giving a 10 year
Visa any ways . I did it 4 my kids we asked for 10 years but they gave
Us 5years we paid 88
Marzouq! Latmathil yal Engilaizi 😛 ITS YOU!
a7meed rabek bo hamdiiii 🙂
When I was applying last year, the lady at their office advised us against requesting 5-10 years visa because at the time we didn’t have an existing one.
But the interesting thing is that (according to her) if you apply for a 5-10 year visa, pay the amount, and then the British Embassy does not grant you that period, they are not obliged to return the amount difference!
So you might be charged for 10 years but get only one or a few months!
Good I got mine when it was much cheaper and same for all durations!!!
hahaha i dont need all this bcuz i have a British Passport
