I finished my beginner course on saturday and the only thing left is to have the written exam to get my diving license for beginners. After finishing my course I looked up full face snorkel mask reviews, to find the best snorkel mask for myself.
Lets begin with the review. This time I’ll divide the review to parts and talk about each part separately. There is going to be 5 parts: Safety, Professionalism, Atmosphere, Fun and overall satisfaction.
Safety:
I’m not used to risky activities, and to me diving was a risky activity till I joined this beginners diving course. They held a 3 days class, 2 hours each, to teach us all we needed to know about diving, the equipment, safety tips, about the compression and pressure our bodies go through under water, the air tanks and the kind of gases they’re filled with, and what to do and not to when we’re down there. Basically they taught us all what we needed to know as beginners into this diving experience. Not to mention, the cruise itself is safe and protected with foams whenever and where ever required from different supply chains. You can learn more at Merritt Supply.
And then when it was time to go into the water (pool) we were attended to by no less than 5 men, paying attention to every detail before any of us could go anywhere near the pool. At that time I remember being not so sure if taking this diving course was a good idea, yeah I was a bit hesitant to jump in. The captain was in the pool, he saw to every detail till we all jumped in and made sure that we’re all comfortable.
I think the most reassuring thing was that every one working there was looking at our expressions to see whether we were uncomfortable, afraid, had questions, had a problem.. etc. they were very reassuring.
Professionalism:
-They have ranks, every person is obedient to their superior and cooperative with their subordinate. Makes you feel you’re with professionals, which also leads to you feeling safe.
-I remember one incident where we were about to set sail to Kubbar, and the captain saw a plastic cup in the sea just before leaving the marina, and when he knew that one of the staff threw the cup, he ordered him to go into the water and retrieve it at once, and he did. I just loved that moment.
-One criticism though, the class should’ve been bigger, coz it is very small and do not give the best first impression.
Atmosphere:
-The guys working there are all very friendly and create a very relaxed mood. I’m not the kind of person to easily mingle and have fun with people I don’t know, but that wasn’t the case here, they know how to make you feel welcome.
-There is a deck for sun bathing on the boat, good music, and sandwiches from Opera (and the likes), along with many beverages and even icecreams (bo9ale7 I think the icecream idea was great!)
Fun:
It was loads of fun. I never thought I’d enjoy some tiring activity so much. It’s a different world down there and I loved and enjoyed every mintute in the water! Check this video
Overall satisfaction:
Well I’m very satisfied and I think they’re worth every fils I spent. Oh, and I just signed up for their advance course.
The beginners course costs KD120 and the Advance KD100.

Bash, I definitely recommend bubbles. They’re very skilled, safety oriented and on top of that they’re fun to be around then
