Just found out that VERSACE has just opened in the Avenues.

Thanks INM

Yesterday INM & ANM were in the Avenues and they found out that another Johnny Rockets has opened in the Avenues mall, in phase two,ย Its upstairs in the food court.

Even Applebee’s opened there. I’m wondering now what about phase three, will there be a JR III? ๐Ÿ˜›

Thanks ANM & INM

Remember my post about which car should I rent for my driver? Most of you said to go with the Nissan Altima, so after reading your comments i went ahead to A’ayan and rented it for 2 years with an offer of KD99 initial deposit (it was KD250 before) and a monthly payment of KD125. Today me and INM went to Al-Babtain and picked up it. I can say from the first ride it was so smooth! thanks guys for helping me decide.

When we were there we noticed also a Nissan GT-R in red color they are selling it for around KD30,000.

Thank you dear readers for helping me out this time. ๐Ÿ™‚

Today we were discussing this issue in my father’s in law house, yes how come our airport got a duty free shops and our country doesn’t apply taxes?! i went to Wikipedia and double checked “Duty free” definition and came out with this:

Duty Free shops: Duty-free shops (or stores) are retail outlets that do not apply local or national taxes and duties.

Can anyone clarify this to me?!

Few days ago we were in our Co-op, and since my wife is a labna fan she always searches for a new type/kind of labna, so this time she found this thing, which we thought was unique in design and it attracted us coz as I was just saying to my wife that this is a smart design that put and end to the need of spoons. fakka!

So today i was preparing my sandwich before i get to my work, with the first bite of it i felt like “damn its so rich/heavy! let me try another bite.” I went ahead bs 7asait la’a fee shay ghala6!? so i took the thing and read it… its a mayonaise with a labna flavor! 7araaam 3alaikom! Labna 3ad !? It shocked me.

Today i got a phone call from 9K2HN telling me that Amex now accepts online payments! Yes finally! i did login to my account and found this:

As you can see above they are accepting K-Net for Kuwait as an option, i didnt try it yet but according to 9K2HN the exchange rate was something around 0.269 which is fair in my opinion.

Anyway Thanks a lot 9K2HN for this ebsharaaa ๐Ÿ˜›

i was reading Al-qabas news paper and found out that M.O.C is trying to ban Skype in Kuwait .. So i went to my phone and did some calls to the US but it’s still working! Has anyone any problem with his Skype account?!

This place is relatively new to the scene, I think its been only 2 years since its opening check their contact info here to learn more about their services. I go there every time I need a haircut coz my favorite barber works there, he used to work somewhere else and when he told me he’s changing his work place I went along with him to this new place.

They offer massages, facials, manicure & pedicure and a lot of other things. I haven’t tried their massages yet, But I intend to have one.

The place is very well designed and have nicely set rooms for the facials and massages, I’ve taken a look inside and it looks great! soothing music, dimmed lights.. the whole nine yards.

I think this is the first place to have a real menu to select your kind of hair cut and shave and view their other services ๐Ÿ˜›

After getting an apointment using the online booking software, it costs 6 kd for a hair cut and 3 kd for a beard shave. I know its cost more than the regular barbershops but hey I go there once a month, so its okay.

Its located in Adaylia, near Kabab-ji restaurant. Tel. 2542807

Today me and my wife were going to Al Tilal complex for the new Armani Casa shop and found out that also Alfares will open soon there.

We were at the barber today and I told my cousin about Skype and how we can use the software to talk to each others while I’m away through audio chat and how its a good software for chatting…etc. Then someone there told my cousin that they sell skype credits in Alshamiya Co-op. For those of you who use this program but can’t buy credits online coz of their credit cards not being american issued, this info could really be helpful, if proved to be true. He said just go to Alshamiya co-op and ask for the skype cards and they’ll tell you where to find em.

Can anyone confirm this info? And can Skype credits be bought anywhere else in Kuwait?
