After 2 planes and a taxi we arrived at 9 something yesterday. We were all exhausted and wanted to sleep, but no, we had to get our rented car from europcar, and we did, then went to GÉANT to stock up on everthing. Then finally returned back home, where I happily drifted out of consciousness.

I went outside, After taking a 2 hour nap, and took some pictures of the cherry tree near us. Labeeba, These pictures are for you πŸ™‚ I was planning on taking pictures of that tree even before anyone told me coz the cherries looked great!

i was reading Al-qabas news paper and found out that M.O.C is trying to ban Skype in Kuwait .. So i went to my phone and did some calls to the US but it’s still working! Has anyone any problem with his Skype account?!

Couple days ago me and Yousef decided to transfer our blog to wordpress.org so that we get more control and options on our blog but Yousef faced some issues such as the old posts?! How could we transfer them .. (( i mean the text and pictures)) coz now i think the only way we could is to transfer the text and uploading the pics manually for the old posts which will takes ages! So any one tried it? i mean to transfer from .COM to .ORG? whats the steps? and for the hosting we’re considering DreamHost.

We appreciate your help guys πŸ˜›

I’m in frankfurt airport right now and waiting for my next flight to geneva. The flight took off as scheduled and was real smooth flight. I usually can’t sleep when i’m traveling, but this time I was asleep as soon as they turned off the lights. I remember thinking why can’t I sleep like every other person in the world! then it…. blurred… Zzzz… Breakfast! Thats it. Thats all I remember. I woke up, ate breakfast and took some photos and we landed.

The next flight is an hour and 10 minutes away, it should be a short flight, maybe an hour .

From now on and till I return to Kuwait, I’ll be posting from wherever I’m at. Nothing will change regarding my posting patterns, Maybe more colorful photos and better scenes πŸ˜› but thats about it. Can’t wait to really use my camera.

A few days ago i was in my father’s in law house, and found out that Bashar got a full collection of Grendizer with traditional Arabic language. In my opinion it was one of the greatest cartoons ever, that have been translated to Arabic.

It’s a set of 4 DVD packages and each one has 3 – 4 DVD and according to Bashar they are of high quality.

You can order them from HERE, You can order any language you wish from this series.

BTW does anyone have any idea when it was first produced? i mean originally in Japan?

Thanks Bashar.

This place is relatively new to the scene, I think its been only 2 years since its opening check their contact info here to learn more about their services. I go there every time I need a haircut coz my favorite barber works there, he used to work somewhere else and when he told me he’s changing his work place I went along with him to this new place.

They offer massages, facials, manicure & pedicure and a lot of other things. I haven’t tried their massages yet, But I intend to have one.

The place is very well designed and have nicely set rooms for the facials and massages, I’ve taken a look inside and it looks great! soothing music, dimmed lights.. the whole nine yards.

I think this is the first place to have a real menu to select your kind of hair cut and shave and view their other services πŸ˜›

After getting an apointment using the online booking software, it costs 6 kd for a hair cut and 3 kd for a beard shave. I know its cost more than the regular barbershops but hey I go there once a month, so its okay.

Its located in Adaylia, near Kabab-ji restaurant. Tel. 2542807

This is my first attempt at HDR.

We woke up around 9 and went to this indian restaurant which is about 15 minutes away from the chalet. It was my first time to eat there, they used to bring food from the resaurant for dinner or lunch, but I never went there myself.

The Baith 6oma6 (Eggs with Tomatoes) was gewd. Their Tea with milk was good too, but not as good as the UAE’s Karak I used to drink in Sharjah.

Since i was young in high school i grew up watching my grand father collecting mesbahs (rosaries), after he passed away my father took over this hobby, and continued collecting and having his own collection. The bag contains some rare and very precious ones, collected from more than one country. He also, sometimes, buy his own rock and custom made his mesbah.

And now back to my beginning, since i was, at the time, in high school i couldn’t afford them coz the price range starts from KD 40 to KD 950 per mesbah so i decided to go with the plastice ones πŸ˜› which only cost 500 fils πŸ˜›

Last saturday I took a dip in the sea. The sun was as big as the sky, or so it seemed. The water was cold, I don’t know why I thought the water would be much warmer. Before I got out I rode the banana with 2 other guys. Its funny how one minute you’re chilling in the sea and next you’re on this huge inflated banana trying your best to hold on to dear life! But, yeah, I was the first to fall after the longest 5 minutes ever and To this second my leg hurts. mako layaqa. πŸ™‚

Some of the guys I know really think they could get a nice tan in the summer, they use different kind of tanning creams to get that perfect tan, which never happens πŸ˜› The idea makes me laugh really.. So, let me break it down to you. Average Kuwaiti guys when exposed to the sun for longer than an hour tend to end up looking like cockroaches lol don’t deceive yourselves into thinking otherwise.. ok? πŸ˜›

Few days ago i got this email from INM telling me that these pics was taken long ago (i dont know the year exactly) when the KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) was operated by BP (British Petroleum).

They were distributing those houses for their employees and one of them was this British guy who have taken some pics of his family. Nowadays those houses are being remodeled with help from Bell Roofing Company.

What i want to show you is how LOVELY and beautiful the house was. Check out how they are so organized

When I was looking for a gift for my nephew I really had to go everywhere! There is nothing much you can buy for 1 year old boy if you don’t want to buy him clothes.

I tried many places, I went to Khalid bin ilwaleed street, I remember I enjoyed going there when I was young, but I found nothing! I also went to Waleed (ma7al waleed) shop and I think that shop needs some serious revamp.

I went everywhere, including this Fantasy world shop but couldn’t really find a toy that made me go “THIS IS THE TOY!” they all looked ehh and so so.

One thing caught my eye and stayed with me was this little train, and although it is not made for a one year old to play with it alone, but atleast He could enjoy it with a parent’s help until he’s a bit older.

If you’re looking for toys, I think this place is one of the best in Kuwait. They have many things for different age groups. There are even things fro grownups, like the pool and board games. auto freaks may also enjoy Fantasy World’s collection of miniature cars. I personally liked how they had some thing for everyone. Ofcourse you’re always better off buying online, but if you’re buying a heavy gift, like the one i bought, then you wouldn’t want to pay the gift’s worth on shipping.

The one I went to, which I think is the biggest branch, is located in Shuwaikh, on Alghazali street, across the street from Electrozan and near the fourth ring road. They have other branches in Soug Sharg & AlBustan Mall.

This whole thing made me realize how fortunate we were to grow up in a time when we could always find the prefect toy in Kids β€˜r’ Us in Salmiya. *1..2..3.. group sigh*

Today INM received a couple of packages from aramex with a total bill of KD21.750 so he gave the driver KD30, the driver went to his car and came back and asked INM if he had any change, he didn’t and it’s kinda not his problem, I mean if you dont have change then make the bill like KD20 and then ther wont’ be a need for the change! πŸ˜› But then the driver asked if its ok to pay using Knet, W didn’t know they can use Knet! So INM went ahead and paid him.

They started this service for almost 3 months ago. I hope they add this service online also o neftaak men USWS!

Thanks INM
