We were at the barber today and I told my cousin about Skype and how we can use the software to talk to each others while I’m away through audio chat and how its a good software for chatting…etc. Then someone there told my cousin that they sell skype credits in Alshamiya Co-op. For those of you who use this program but can’t buy credits online coz of their credit cards not being american issued, this info could really be helpful, if proved to be true. He said just go to Alshamiya co-op and ask for the skype cards and they’ll tell you where to find em.

Can anyone confirm this info? And can Skype credits be bought anywhere else in Kuwait?

Yes we have them! We have some mango trees in our home and yesterday INM spotted some mangos in them. I didn’t know that some day they might give us some mangos.. especially with our kid of nearly 50’s degrees’ weather!

Anyway thanks INM.

This is my first attempt at HDR.

We woke up around 9 and went to this indian restaurant which is about 15 minutes away from the chalet. It was my first time to eat there, they used to bring food from the resaurant for dinner or lunch, but I never went there myself.

The Baith 6oma6 (Eggs with Tomatoes) was gewd. Their Tea with milk was good too, but not as good as the UAE’s Karak I used to drink in Sharjah.

i found this site ewasfat which i think is pretty good and helpful for those of you who love to cook. Its an online recipes source, they claim that they have more than 1000 recipes. Most of the recipes are from the Arabian cuisine.

Thanks 9K2HN

Note: At first I thought this incident happened in Kuwait, But I just read on another blog that it might’ve happened in the UAE. We don’t know where it happened, just enjoy the video, feel disgusted and move on! πŸ˜›

Thanks Tareq.

There is another ad made for the mall which I think has nothing to do with the mall, Cick Here if you wanna watch it.

There will be 7 levels in the 360Β° Mall, as stated on their website, Five above ground, one Lower Level, One Ground Floor.

The Mall should be done by the winter of 2008.

the Snap Capp is something very special, and yet is so simple. Simply put, the Snap Capp is β€œa plastic re-closable top designed to snap onto virtually all 12 and 16 ounce aluminum beverage cans”.
The Snap Capp also comes in handy on picnics or other outdoor outings. You may have noticed that when an open can is left out in the open, bees and other bugs sense the sugar and love to fly in.

Here how it works .. i think its pretty smart idea!

Β

You should be able to pick up 3-packs for around KD2.600 HERE but its still not available πŸ˜›

Thanks INM

UPDATE:

According to one of our readers they are available HERE.

Thanks DVLz

Since i was young in high school i grew up watching my grand father collecting mesbahs (rosaries), after he passed away my father took over this hobby, and continued collecting and having his own collection. The bag contains some rare and very precious ones, collected from more than one country. He also, sometimes, buy his own rock and custom made his mesbah.

And now back to my beginning, since i was, at the time, in high school i couldn’t afford them coz the price range starts from KD 40 to KD 950 per mesbah so i decided to go with the plastice ones πŸ˜› which only cost 500 fils πŸ˜›

Be aware of mobile thieves. It happened to someone I know.

Thank you Taymoor.

I’m not a big fan of Alanis Morissette I just like listening to her debut album every now and then. I think she wrote great songs on that album, and she seemed to have lots of potential especially if she wrote that many hits for her debut, you’d think with the success she’s had that year and how hungry she seemed for success, she’d become a hit machine. But she released many albums after that one that did nothing to me, I liked non of them, maybe just a couple of singles and her unplugged album, but not a single album came close to her debut imo.

With this new album things are different, I don’t know what she’s doing differently, but I find her interesting again. I like atleast 3 songs up to know and my favorite being Underneath & Moratorium.

Listen to Underneath:

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

The album should drop on the 10th of June.

Last saturday I took a dip in the sea. The sun was as big as the sky, or so it seemed. The water was cold, I don’t know why I thought the water would be much warmer. Before I got out I rode the banana with 2 other guys. Its funny how one minute you’re chilling in the sea and next you’re on this huge inflated banana trying your best to hold on to dear life! But, yeah, I was the first to fall after the longest 5 minutes ever and To this second my leg hurts. mako layaqa. πŸ™‚

Some of the guys I know really think they could get a nice tan in the summer, they use different kind of tanning creams to get that perfect tan, which never happens πŸ˜› The idea makes me laugh really.. So, let me break it down to you. Average Kuwaiti guys when exposed to the sun for longer than an hour tend to end up looking like cockroaches lol don’t deceive yourselves into thinking otherwise.. ok? πŸ˜›

Few days ago i got this email from INM telling me that these pics was taken long ago (i dont know the year exactly) when the KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) was operated by BP (British Petroleum).

They were distributing those houses for their employees and one of them was this British guy who have taken some pics of his family. Nowadays those houses are being remodeled with help from Bell Roofing Company.

What i want to show you is how LOVELY and beautiful the house was. Check out how they are so organized
