Forget the APM post we want this machine instead to be in every Mcdonald’s in Kuwait. I would’ve loved using the machine that day instead of waiting inline for over 10 minutes. I don’t get it, why was there a line and lots of people waiting when they could’ve easily used the machines? I would have, had I spotted them before placing my order.

There are few problems in Kuwait and its not about the machine its about the speed to process those transactions. In many countries it takes less than 30 seconds to have your transaction done in no time. In kuwait using Knet and other services you have to wait forever and may try few transactions till it goes through using dialup LOL . The idea is simple but how about space, since your going to order from this machine although it uses older technology and your going to get a receipt which will have your order number. Ok so whats next you must be waiting for your order so this now depends on the speed of service as well as other matters. This machine would actually help in few ways:

1- cut down costs by not employing cashiers, but if used in Kuwait you will need people standing next to these machines helping people when they have no idea how to use them so basically we did nothing here.

2- It doesn’t involve using cash and that way it’s faster but not in Kuwait lol.

Watch the ad below by Visa you’re going to know why its important not to rely on cash. The newer ways of using and processing transactions.

An RFID technology used to replace old swiping methods, these cards have like a wave icon on the corner of the card check the demo on the link below:

Also Master Card provides a similar service called PayPass or tap-and-go.

In Japan and some Asian countries you can pay using your cellphone. I’ve also read about them using coupons on their cellphones for discounts and such ( smart people ).
