Whats for dinner_1

My subject today is about a question common in each and every house, which is what’s for dinner? u r hungry and want to eat but u don’t want something too heavy neither too light, u think about ordering something and u get the usual replay from ur parents ” why do u have to order from restuarants when u have all what u want here at home! why do we buy all this food then! home made food is much healthier than the one u gonna order! (even if it was a salad u r ordering)” For more information about healthy supplements visitΒ mysanantonio.com/.

    1) Make sure you keep at home a selection of Yeo Valley Yogurt as well as Meusli or mixture of oats, nuts, and dried fruits. Put the yoghurt in a bowl and mix it with a few big spoons of the muesli and you have a delicious but light dinner. If you have a sweet tooth like me this is especially good because it satisfies that sweet craving.

    2) Put some brown Lebanese bread in the oven to get it nice and toasted and then break it into small pieces and put it in a bowl. Have it with humus, or baba ghanooj, along with cucumbers and tomatoes.

You know… this may not be light, and may sound yucky to some but I love it. Get yams or sweet potatoes, boil them till they get soft, and mash them up. Add gaimar (or thick cream) + brown sugar + cinnamon! I really love it. I do it also as baked sweet potato with the same addition as fillings hehehe

ok.. here is what I do.. I’m a sandwich person!

Boil some water.. get a couple of eggs.. break one at a time into the boiling water.. and let if float until its completely white.. take it off with a spoon.. put it gently on a paper towel.. do the same process with the 2nd egg.. season with a pinch of salt, pepper and smoked paprika.. toast a couple of toasts lol and be creative! lettuse, light-mayo, mustard, pickles, roma tomatoes.. and place the 2 eggs. o bil 3afyah:) simple, yet devine

  16. Intlxpatr says:

Tacos. You make taco meat: ground round or lean hamburger + package of onion soup mix + chili powder + 1.5 cups water + salt, cook until meat melts in your mouth. Make a lot, freeze part in small portions to pull out later.

Chop some green onions. Chop some tomatoes. Shred some lettuce. Use sour cream or non-fat yoghurt. Shred some cheddar. (Really, it’s not that hard) Make or buy some salsa (chopped tomatoes, a little chopped cilantro, a little chopped onion) Compose tacos.

Alternately, make a taco casserole, using big burrito skins, layer with taco supplies, bake at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted (use lots of shredded cheddar.)

Having the xtra taco meat made up in the freezer can get you quick meals in a hurry and it is easy.

    1. 1 can chickpeas….sprinkle with salt cayenne and balck pepper….drizzle yogurt over it and chopped onions, tomatoes, cucumber and cilantro
    2. Pita Bread topped with any veg in hand and cheese ( parmesan, cheddar, mozerella etc)
    3. Baguette, mozeralla and Tomato sprinked with salt and peper
    4. Hot Dog Sandwich !
    5. Labneh , Zaatar with Pita bread ( yes I knw it is a repetition but it is worth mention again )
    6. Its not a dinner but I often do it when I wanna go on liquid…hah even if its not as healthy…equal amounts of thick cocunut milk mixed with KDD pineapple juice , sugar to taste and chunks of Fresh/ canned Pineapple. and its an instant Pina Colada just not rum πŸ˜‰
    Hope that helps,
It will just try it ! πŸ˜€

i hate heavy dinners…. personally i love plain skimmed yogurt mixed with sweet turkish grapes (you can find the box for like 2.260kd at mishref coop :P) and mix them together in a bowl… add a bit of salt… and voila! healthy, light and delicious…

  20. 9k2hn says:

I’m not fan of heavy dinner too, my favorite dinner is Tomato slices with olive oil and a pinch of salt, and some time i add to it mozzarella cheese.
