I think they were going for a traditional, straight up Kuwaiti feel with this Invitation.
For the Arabic-illiterate, They’re basically saying that the official opening of Villa Moda’s new Almanshar branch is going to be held on the 6th of April at 8 o’clock. The attendants should were the traditional Kuwaiti kaftan for women (dara3a) and Dishdashas for men. There will be also a tradtional musical acts performing for the audience.

thats one UGLY invitation!! and is that ink smudges on the text!!
Isn’t it enough that the design of the invitation is a DISASTER, couldn’t they work on the printing at least!
I think they were going for ‘LESS IS MORE!” they ended up with “less is POINTLESS!” unless they r planning on having their opening eb SOOG IL KHITHRA!!
oops…
that would be one of the ads that would fall under “disaster”
the theme is fine..but implementing it on an invitation card.. was awfully bad.. the heart..that is another story.. !
Thanks a heap for spreading the good word.
Seriously, if you hadn’t warned us about the dress code we’d have gone there in our swimming trunks wearing a pair of flip flops.
And has Paris Hilton finally agreed to fly in to Kuwait for the ribbon cutting ?
Hey! Paris tells me she can’t make it and that the dates are no good for Shakira and Salma Hayek. If they also can’t come then they can always rely on Brad and Jolie – they seem willing to go just about anywhere, at the drop of a hat.
