I started 5 books but finished none of them. There is no time for reading. When there is time for reading then there is time for sleeping! which to me is always a priority over reading..
The 5 books I’v started are:
- The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
- Water for elephants (very good so far)
- Waiter Rant (A real waiter writes about his life as a waiter. Makes you think twice before calling a waiter ‘excuse me’)
- Secret lives of bees
- The Shinning
I’ve heard about Water for Elephants before, What is it about?
Waiter Rants looks interesting, I’ll probably add it to my list!
I loved Secret Lives of Bees, and Oprah made an interview with the author of Waiter Rant, I think if I’m not mistaken he wrote the book after he wrote it on his blog.
Same situation! I have a bunch of books and not really getting through them! I’m even trying to figure out what to start and what to finish! Its never ending and there is no time to read!
since i started work i cant even bring myself to read anythinnngg ,mashallah 3laik shloun lik khlg??
and five books b wagt wa7d!!;p
Also The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a great and very heartfelt book!!
That happens to me too sometimes but only when the book feels like it’s dragging on and on. BUT Secret Life of Bees is a very touching book so I recommend you finish it. Also I see Carrie on your list even though you didn’t say you started it. That book and Stephen King books in general are truly scary. I remember reading one book in the 9ala with the TV on and my brothers playing around because I was too scared to read it alone in my bedroom. But I was a teenager at the time and frankly it’s not one of those books you really want to read as an ‘adult’. Ya3ni not very memorable or meaningful. I say if you have to prioritize your reading go for the non-Stephen King books first.
Yep! Been There, Done That! I have so many books that I started, but not yet finished! I’m running out of “book marks” LOoL
interesting choice of books though:)
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is absolutely riveting! I finished it a day and a half after starting it! I’d like to know how Water for Elephants is; I saw it at Jarir, and I’ve been thinking of picking it up. Do review it! Please, please, please? 🙂
The lovely bones is an excellent book 😀
I used to read WaiterRant all the time; he had a great blog. His insights and observations regarding his customers were kind to those for whom he had compassion, and merciless to the arrogant and self-centered.
You’ve got some great books there, but I am guessing, not a lot of time to read?
I know that feeling! I do want to read but haven’t really finished something!
Recommend any ?
wana a7oslik eb 7awary london adawerlik elketab w akhir shay matkamla! ya wailik min rakoon etha dara mashaita over 20km 3ala ketabik eli tabeh
This is exactly why I don’t read more than one book at a time, unless the book was really hard w didn’t capture my attention thek ilsa3 I move to another one 🙂
