What’s up with the highways today?! I’m still stuck between the 6th and 5th ring roads!
I thought traffic would go down by now, since the finals are nearing.. I’m so gonna be late for work today..
Update:
I finally managed to arrive at work, late by 2 hours. I heard in the radio that the cause of the traffic jam at King faisal’s highway (highway 50) was caused by a bursted water tank in Qurtoba. The nice people were slowing down whenever they see signs of leakage so they could get a closer look at the mess.
don’t worry, you’re not the only one who’s late for work today.
7adda ;D ana bagaiiiit anam bl sayyara :p
according to THE BLOG “4TH RING ROAD” thanks buddy
water pipe just exploded!!!
around 5 am this morning a “water pipe” exploded between qortuba and yarmouk… and theres a major flood there (the side where you go to the city).. so if your driving a saloon or a coupe dont even think of going there hence i drive an suv and my exhaust were under water. i think i saw a merc roadster parked on the side dripping wet…. ;/ talk about major cash to fix the drowned car… hope they solve the problem before working hours which i doubt… haha yes EVERYONE will be late ;p
I thought the same thing on the way to work today. I was driving on the 40 from South Surra, and usually it’s the same traffic, so I wasn’t as annoyed. But usually the traffic goes away around 2nd ring road, today it went alll the way until the traffic light at the end of 40! Results= took me 45 mins from South Surra to Kuwait City :s
Thats why when i left Odaliya using malik faisal street or whatever its called (6erej alma6ar) it was empty i even called my friends to help me figure out what was going on. then i heared that the road was closed from Qurtuba. i wish they can close it everday 😉 it really felt like i was driving at 3AM on weekdays. from Odaliya to sheraton hotel in 5 minutes is AWESOME !!!
eh wallah bo9ale7 ameeeeeeen, ya 7eloo road fathey 🙂
Bo9ale7: Same here…the benefit of living in Yarmouk! 🙂
I bypassed the traffic jam through the traffic light and driving was as easy as ever!
i was stuck on the same road
it did look like a water tanker since the whole road was wet
the accident was on the exit for the 3rd ring road on route 50 (heading towards city from the airport direction)
since the last three weeks i am seeing accidents at the same spot every tuesday ! WTF ?!
eeeeeeeeeeeee kan 7ada za7ma estghferallaaah it took me an hour to arrive! king faisal highway is never a good option anyway! try 6thringroad ba3dain king fahad then bk to 5thring road then airport road , quite messy bs fastest so far ;p
I came to work an hour late. So did my business manager. I work 9 hours a day and I have to spend an extra hour tring to make it to work on time!!!
Traffic sucks, I am always in a bad mood for the first 2 hours at the office..
eee 7atana kint 6al3a min qurtuba and was on riyadh road kaan fee loya hnaak oo shur6a oo fee those huge huge trucks with machinery on them! Bass after that part it was more or less smooth sailing. Inzain shino ya3ni a tank burst? 3asa ma yingi6i3 3alaina il mai mara thania Alla la ygool
Sheeeshhh!
My dad too was late for work for 2 hours!!!
Its standard operating procedure in Kuwait! They always do that!
yousef u should quit very soon and start your own business:)
its always the same all over the road. whenever there is an incident, people stop to have a look at what has happened, and there fore causing more jam.
i think people are generally curious by nature.
