We, along with other blogs, got an e-mail with the video above from an asipiring Kuwaiti film maker, He wants us to share this video so you could watch it and give your opinion about their work at it’s early stages.

Iām one of the people who are working on a Kuwaiti film, and we would love to post the trailer on your blog so we can get feedback from the viewers before we move to the next step of production. We are a group of Kuwaiti youth who are interested in Film-making and cinema. We are trying to make serious Kuwaiti films, but since we are doing it ourselves and without any form of support, we need all the help that we can get.

Actors need to get a bit more serious in their acting, and where is the blood in this video clip? I have seen people being beaten up, ill, and fighting with each other but no BLOOD!!! You guys need to get more serious about it but that’s just my opinion. Anyways great job on the music and animation/filimg and nice hand writing š
Sorry I was a bit vague about actors not being serious so i’ll be specific, look at 1:31 (Is that really how an injured and ill man would be walking? The way he fell down and coughed was quite funny rather than showing how injured he is) and in 1:58 he immediately got up as if nothing happened and all injuries healed (No comment), finally in the fighting scene the actors needed to attack each other’s a bit more fast rather than slow (look at how the lord of the rings actors fight – how their attack speed and everything and compare it with your actors.) I think that’s all!!
frankly speaking,, bad acting, bad graphics,,i dunno how they’ll come out with such a movie..
Actors weren’t serious enough, and too much CG were used, the good thing is it’s in traditional Arabic, although it wasn’t pronounced clear enough and loud enough same as Syrian historical series, our Arabic differs with the tone and emotions, it’s not just letters to read or say.
The script looks so-so, but the idea of a fisher man becomes a warrior.. hmm..?
Use an old man to narrate the story for a better demonstration.
sorry, I don’t mean to be mean, but I just criticize you to become better.
P.S. the background music have been used too much lately.. I wonder why..? try to create your own.

bad bad bad Actors and bad story too
cant judge the movie by just the trailer, the scenery was fantastic ………….. i would love the watch the whole film.
The execution is sleek, the camera angles are good, overall output is good.
What is lacking is the conviction and emotions of the actors, the story punchline.
The fight scene looks a real fake.
The pace of movie needs to match the music and the storyline.
Check out movies like Ben Hur for inspiration.
