One of my best lenses fell (along with the camera.. Gasp!) on the cold harsh asphalt outside our house, and pieces of little things rolled out of it’s little body.. Poor little thing. I’m over dramatizing by the way coz I’m gonna throw it away and buy another one just like it. ThankGod nothing happened to the camera, coz it fell along with the lens, very tough camera! Mashallah.

This lens is the best investment I’ve made when it comes to buying things for my camera. I think it’s a great lens for 2 reasons: First because it’s really cheap compared to the other lenses, secondly, I love this lens coz it makes dull pictures look good and makes me look like a great photographer, not that I’m not, but yeah it makes me look even better 😛
I loved it and I’m gonna buy a new one just like it. it’s $99 and I highly recommend it.

guess its time for an upgrade go for the 50mm with 1.4 aperture .. its results are even better

That’s a really traumatic experience that I passed through recently but elhemdella my lens was safe!
blkashi wla feek ;p lol. I experienced that but on the carpet! actually on my toe, then the carpet! lol and it was followed by a deep GASP! which I can only explain as pulling ur side breaks lol. I try to be careful with my baby! hugs and kisses all the time! lol
oO get the 50mm 1.4, and tell me how it works out for u, coz my baby needs a sister ;p lool
Lucky for us Canon fans that we have this lens to be thankful for. It’s so inexpensive that if it ever breaks, it’s not as bad as with other lenses.
I just got mine last week, and I’ve been experimenting with it. I read online that it’s made of a cheaper quality than most of the other Canon lenses, which is why it’s cheaper.
That’s exactly what happened to my 50mm 1.8 too! 🙁
& I got 50mm 1.4 it’s my everyday every time lens!
