Do you where can I find Quran written in English language in Kuwait? Because I need to send some for the guys here in Aberdeen, they are interested in reading it.
I suggest you direct them to http://al-quran.info , its a great site with many English translations. I find the translation by Mohammed Asad really good for understanding in ‘new’er english . Good luck.
Correction 🙂 There’s no Qur’an written in English language, you rather meant Qur’an translations and science written in English. Yes, you may stop by IPC http://www.ipc-kw.net/english.php they have many printed materials about Islamic sciences for interested none-Muslims … Good luck & Jazal Allah Khair
if you call the IPC ,, they are very helpful and even deliver it to your address for free ( inside Kuwait ) .. just ordered for my colleague .. P.S. tell them it’s for non-muslim ,, i think there are some extra materials that they will send in addition to the Qur’aan ,,
no no no! i tried FIVE reputable translations for one of my essays for my islamic civilization class in university and they all absolutely SUCKED. seriously, i had to spend days over the passages making my own translations. the translator either offered a simplification so severe that it stripped the passage of all other meaning or came to his own conclusions about what the sura meant and just translated the ayat within that context. absolutely horrid horrid horrid! (even the oxford version- which is a bit better than that stuff you find on the internet but is dry stiff). a7sanlik tig3ad ma3ahom witfahhimhom cause il9ara7a translations completely ruin it.
You can call 97339331 (مكتبة علوم القرأن). They have translated Quran (king Fahad version) to various languages including English. You can call them and they will deliver it to your home.
Sorry i wasn’t able to answer this since the blog was out of coverage area 😉
Ok…the best place in Kuwait to find Islamic publications in all languages is at IPC….next to Masjed Mulla Saleh…i buy all my give away gifts from there and they have different versions of the Quran…all authentic and the translation is really reliable 🙂
If you’re still looking for a translated Quran, you can send an email to jo3644@hotmail.com and they will send you a package of Islam books including a small size translated Quran. This office is located in Saudi Arabia (مكتب الدعوة والارشاد التابع لوزارة الحج والاوقاف)and I personally sent an email (in Arabic) to them and they sent me the package to Australia where I live. It’s free of charge (and hassle)..plus it is a trusted resource of Islamic info.
I’m happy for you that you decided to do something for Islam, well done!

You can buy Quran translations in English from many online shops in the UK such as simplyislam, kitaabun.com, amazon uk and many others.
You can also find some good islamic books, let me know if you’d like some titles of any books to get.
