You gotta love the lazy people behind this invention. I remember a couple of years back Mishary telling me about his room in Japan having one of these toilets where it does everything for you, and I remember being very impressed by the idea. Now my other friend found this one in Bahrain’s Ritz hotel.

I wonder if it’s available in Kuwait.. I would feel weird using one of these but I know at least one lazy friend who’d kill for this toilet!

Thanks bo9ale7

I found this online which shows how this guy is using his ex-wife’s wedding dress in many unbelievable ways.

Zain took the initiative to put together 3 of Kuwait’s most adored Dewaniya games and put them into a single box they’re calling The Dewaniya Box.

The box is made out of solid cardboard material, and is likely to endure the Dewaniya usage. The 3 games are:

  • 2 decks of cards
  • Dominos.
  • Checkers (Dama in Kuwaiti).
  • Kot bo sita score pad and a Pen.

Zain, with the help of Kuwait’s Dewan Directory, have gathered a huge list of Kuwaiti Dewaniyas and is about to disrepute the first shipment of 3000 Boxes to the Dewaniyas and are in process of producing more to cover the rest of Kuwait’s Dewaniyas.

My brother Hamad told me about the KDD ice cream machine, and he kept raving about how good it’s ice-cream is, how smooth the vanilla and how sweet the chocolate is. I didn’t give it much thought till the he brought it up for, like, the 17th time. I decided that I need to try it out and that I would probably need my camera to report it back in here. I’m happy to say that I wasn’t disappointed, at all.

The shop is a KDD shop, never knew such shops existed. Heard about the one in shuwaikh but somehow it did not register, I mean a KDD shop? Why?

I went in and there were a couple of guys in there paying for their cons and were about to leave. I knew I had to take pictures, and I wanted the shop all to myself, I had many questions for the seller too, so I waited. As soon as those guys exited Read the rest of this entry »

The guys decided that it’s time to kick off the summer season. They’ve waited a long time for the weather to finally settle into summer mode, but it didn’t. And it’s hard to get all the weather elements we have in Kuwait aligned for a nice day at the beach (you know with all the dust, rain, wind, cold, hurricane and flying cows..etc) so when they woke up that morning and saw a nice weather, they decided that they should seize the opportunity immediately. And so they did.

I did. An ants farm. I bought one. I was intrigued and disgusted by those little insects farms for a long time, and then decided that being intrigued and disgusted by them up close would be a better idea.

Was doing some search in Google.com.kw and found the above logo. Its really nice from google to update there pictures between time to time. You can check it out HERE

We’re in the middle of building an extension to the dewaniya, and one of the guys suggested we build a Fireplace in there. We all agreed to the idea and we liked the effect it’d add to the interiors. Finding a place that builds (reasonably priced) Fireplaces and chimneys was a nightmare. We’re on a budget, if you aren’t on one you’d breeze through the process, but we do have a budget and we’re trying to stick to it. We combed Shuwaikh and asked everybody.. We were out of luck, we didn’t find a single place that does them, and every builder we called was out of the country.

We learned later from a friend that they did a couple of Fireplaces with help from IGNEFERRO in their Abdali farm and He recommended Bu Hassan the chimney specialist. We’re now in the process of building the thing, we’ve chosen the colors and the rocks that’ll go into making it. So far this guy seems to know what he’s doing, especially when it comes to the tricky ventilation part. Apparently getting the smoke of the chimney top without smoking back the fumes into the room is a tricky matter, and not everyone is qualified enough to prevent that from happening.

I’ll keep you posted about this guy’s work, and will post the final pictures when he’s done incase someone else is thinking about building a chimney.

I got to know about The Protégés a couple of days ago and I really like what the program is all about.

The Protégés is a national program for the youth to help build their personalities so that they become the most qualified leaders in future years. We will teach them about Kuwaiti culture, art, music, theatre, religion, politics, sports, and everything that was a part of building Kuwait. This program will broaden their horizons by teaching them about things they do not experience on a day-to-day basis. We will shed the light on unpopular yet influential people, events, and issues that seem to be forgotten in today’s media. What makes The Protégés unique in that it approaches the curriculum in a creative manner. Students will not be bored by typical lectures because our program is all about activities, fun, games, trips, significant social figures, and more! After all, the program will take place in summer and no one wants to be bored on his or her vacation.

The Protégés made its first public appearance on April 14th in Kuwait University’s CBA and is setting a booth in CBA this week to encourage students to register and collect applications. We will soon be moving to GUST, AUK, and other colleges and high schools.

Eager to adopt healthier habits but don’t know where to start? An exercise routine and balanced diet are well within your reach. All it takes is an open mind and the desire to change. Here are seven tips on how to make healthy habits a permanent part of your lifestyle.

Find the Right Motivation: Most people change their diet or exercise routine for superficial reasons. They want to lose 5kgs so they can fit into an outfit. Or they need to drop 10kgs before going on a cruise. This can set you up for disappointment and ultimately, failure. Instead, target non-scale victories such as more energy, better sleep, or less stress. When you center your health, weight loss and smaller clothes are a natural side effect. Focus on the feeling, not the numbers. LÑearn more about leanbiome.

Eat to Satisfy, Not to Stuff. Once you’ve changed your mindset, change your portions. It can be difficult eliminating your favorite foods, so just limit them. Adopt the 80/20 rule. Eat healthy 80 percent of the time and enjoy your favorite treats the remaining 20. Also, use smaller plates and bowls to keep your serving sizes in check. Aim for a diet of mostly nutrient-dense foods consisting of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein.

Create an Environment for Success: Remove any triggers that may undermine your progress. That could be junk food, alcohol, or sugary beverages. If you can’t have it in moderation, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Whether at home or work, the places you spend the most amount of time should be conducive to your new lifestyle.

Make Exercise Fun: If you hate working out, you won’t do it. Find activities you genuinely enjoy. If you’re not a natural runner, don’t force yourself onto the treadmill. Try swimming, kick-boxing, or the elliptical as a source of cardio. If you dread lifting dumbbells, there are plenty of bodyweight exercises that provide the same amount of resistance and muscle-building benefits.

Start Small: To make lasting change, start from the bottom up. Don’t aim for an hour-long gym session, when 15 minutes might be more realistic. Slowly increase the time and difficulty as your performance improves. Follow your body’s cues and adapt accordingly.

Write It Down: For some, a visual aid is the key to making a habit stick. It’s a way to keep you motivated and on the right track. You can make a checklist of mini-goals or take the artistic route and create a vision board. There’s also journaling, which can help you identify unhealthy habits and their underlying triggers. This is how protetox works.

Embrace Challenges: Have you ever heard the quote, “A winner is just a loser who never gave up?” During this transition, you’re bound to make mistakes. They are a natural part of the process. The goal is to acknowledge them, learn from them, and move forward. Recognize your faults but don’t let them diminish your spirit. You will only fail if you stop trying.

Got no friends? Too dull to have interesting conversations? No one would even consider playing rock paper scissors with you?

Cheer up! You can now play it by yourself! This glove comes with a little microchip and a screen that’ll let you play it with for hours on end! 😛
